Behavioral health
Fourteen therapists and psychiatrists working inside the same practice as your GP, on the same record, so nobody asks you to tell the story from the beginning again.
- 14 therapists and psychiatrists
- Same record as your GP
- First appointment in 6 days

Overview
What behavioral health here actually involves
This department sits inside the practice rather than beside it. Your therapist, your psychiatrist and your GP read one record, which means the medication, the therapy and the physical health picture are visible to each other.
The first appointment is an hour and is an assessment, not a triage call. You will leave knowing who you are seeing next, what kind of therapy it is, and roughly how long it runs — rather than joining a list.
Not everyone who comes here needs long-term work. A significant share of appointments are short, focused courses for sleep, anxiety or a specific life event, and we will say so rather than open an indefinite file.

Your visit
What to expect, step by step
Before you come
Nothing to prepare. If there is something you would rather write down than say out loud, bring it — that is a normal way to start.
Checking in
Check in on your phone if you would rather not speak to the desk. There is a quiet corner of the waiting area, and the average wait is six minutes.
With the clinician
An hour. Mostly you talking and them listening. You will agree a plan at the end of it rather than being added to a list.
After the visit
A summary reaches your portal the same day, and it goes to your GP only with your agreement — this is the one part of the record you control.
Equipment & technology
Built instead of a bigger lobby
There is not much equipment in this department, which is the point. What it has instead is time, continuity and rooms that were designed for the conversation rather than borrowed from a clinic.
The single most useful thing here is the shared record — your therapist, your psychiatrist and your GP are looking at one page.
- Fourteen clinicians on staff
- Employed here, not a contracted network
- Same-record integration with primary care
- Shared with your GP only if you agree to it
- Video sessions with the same therapist
- Not a different clinician each week
- Evening group programmes
- Pearl District · sleep, anxiety, chronic illness
