What this job actually is
Beaverton houses the practice's MRI service for all four clinics: a 3T scanner running musculoskeletal, neurological and abdominal lists, with roughly twenty patients a day and a turnaround measured in days rather than weeks.
Radiographers here have a real say in protocol design, because the people reading the images are down the corridor and in the same meeting. Nothing is sent overnight to a reporting service in another time zone.

Day to day
What you would be doing
- Run MRI lists safely and on time, including screening every patient yourself
- Position, protocol and optimise studies across MSK, neuro and body work
- Manage contrast administration under the agreed protocol
- Maintain scanner QA logs and flag faults before they become a cancelled list
- Support the imaging scheduler in triaging urgent requests
What we need
What you would bring
- ARRT registration in Radiography with advanced MRI certification (ARRT-MR) or ARMRIT
- Oregon licensure where required for the modality
- Two years of independent MRI scanning, including contrast work
- Current BLS
