The role
What this job actually is
Sellwood is the smallest of the four clinics and the one where everybody knows the regulars by name. You would work alongside two family physicians and a nurse, running the front half of every appointment: rooming, vitals, medication reconciliation and the reason the patient actually came.
Part time here means three days, not five days compressed. The clinic closes at six and the last appointment is at half past five, so the day ends when the rota says it does.

Day to day
What you would be doing
- Room patients, take vitals and reconcile the medicines list before the clinician arrives
- Draw bloods and run point-of-care tests, most of which report the same day
- Give scheduled immunisations and keep the vaccine fridge log
- Prepare and turn around treatment rooms between patients
- Answer the clinic line when the front desk is with someone
What we need
What you would bring
- Certification as a medical assistant (CMA, RMA or equivalent), or completion within six months
- Current BLS
- Phlebotomy experience — this role draws bloods every day it runs
- The patience for a small clinic where the same fifty people come back
