Booking FAQ

Before you book

Anything not answered here, ask when you book — the person who picks up can see the same screen you are on.

Can I cancel or move my appointment?
Yes, free of charge, up to 24 hours before — online or by phone, whichever you prefer. Inside 24 hours we ask that you call so the slot can be offered to someone else the same day. There is no cancellation fee at any point.
Do I need a referral to book?
No. Every clinician on this page takes direct bookings, specialists included. If your GP is already at Medice they will have written to the department, but nothing waits on that letter — book, and the notes catch up.
What if I do not have insurance?
Choose “I will pay myself” at the insurance step and you pay the published self-pay price at the desk. Those prices are flat, identical at all four clinics, and they do not change afterwards.
Can I book on behalf of someone else?
Yes — put their name and date of birth in the details step and your own mobile number, so the reminders reach the person who is organising the visit. For anyone under 18 a parent or guardian needs to come along.
How early should I arrive?
Ten minutes is plenty. That is enough to check in and hand over anything from the list above; once you are checked in, the average wait across all four clinics is eleven minutes.
